Kitsap County Market Statistics for March 31, 2009

While there are some differences in this week's numbers compared with the those beginning in January, there is no indication our markets are changing:

• 1,823 total active listings county-wide
  
• 42 new contracts written this week county-wide (six of which were either short sales or foreclosures and this number is about half as many as in the past)


• 50 recorded sales county-wide (16 of those being short sales or foreclosures)


• Silverdale absorption rate was 47 weeks of inventory on-hand


• Kitsap County absorption rate was 36.7 weeks of inventory for sale

As I mentioned, no change in any of the trends yet.
