Title Insurance for Homeowners in Kitsap County

I read an article two days ago from the National Association of REALTORS which stated that the error rate for title insurance policies has increased from 25 percent to 36 percent since 2000. The reason is because of the dramatic increase in the number of buying and selling transactions.

I'm not an expert on title insurance so when I have a question I usually call the title department section of one of Kitsap County's Title and Escrow Companies (in no particular order: Pacific NorthWest Title and Escrow; Land Title and Escrow; or Land America Transnation Title and Escrow). Or in a pinch, you could contact the American Land Title Association (ALTA).
